(b) First pass Metabolism
3. Briefly describe drug treatment of any three of the following: (3×3=9)
(a) Peptic ulcer
(b) Gingivitis
(c) Excessive bleeding after tooth extraction
(d) Anaphylactic shock after an injection of penicillin.

4. Choose the most appropriate response: (2×5=10)
(a) The most frequent side effect of oral ampicillin is:
