Time : 3 Hours Maximum Marks : 60
Note : This paper is of sixty (60) marks divided into three (03) sections A, B, and C. Attempt the questions contained in these sections according to the detailed instructions given therein.

Section – A : (Long Answer Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘A’ contains four (04) long-answer-type questions of fifteen (15) marks each. Learners are required to answer any two (02) questions only. (2×15=30)
1. Describe the Ideal type of Bureaucracy of Max Weber.
2. Explain the Importance of value-based Administration to provide good governance.
3. Curruption is the biggest problem of Indian administration. Explain the constitutional provisions to tackle this.
4. Traning in Administration is very important aspact but most important aspact is Aptitude in civil services.

Section – B : (Short Answer Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘B’ contains eight (08) short-answer-type questions of five (05) marks each. Learners are required to answer any four (04) questions only. (4×5=20)
1. Differentiate between formal and informal Training.
2. Write a short note on the evalution of civil services in France.
3. Do you agree that administration is also the medium of social Justice?
4. Explain in brief ‘Need of Hierarchy theory’ of Maslow.
5. Differentiate between management and administration in short.
6. What do you mean by committed Bureaucracy in India.
7. Describe the merits and demerits of Internal Recruitment system.
8. Explain the CSAT (Civil Service Apptitude Test) of U.P.S.C’s Exam.

Section – C : (Objective Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘C’ contains ten (10) objective-type questions of one (01) mark each. All the questions of this section are compulsory. (10×1=10)
