Section – A : (Long Answer Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘A’ contains four (04) long-answer-type questions of fifteen (15) marks each. Learners are required to answer any two (02) questions only. (2×15=30)
1. “The object of human resource is to achieve the objectives of the business” Elucidate this statement stating clearly the role of human resource management.
2. What do you understand by psychological tests? Descrie the various principles of psychological tests used for selection of personnel.

3. Define performance appraisal. Describe the main characteristics of an effective performance appraisal. Explain management by objectives as a tool of employee appraisal.
4. What is meant by morale? How can the general level of morale be measured? What administrative measures are conducive for the promotion of morale of the employees.
