Wjhat is JAC National Talent Search Examination?

The JAC NTSE examination is the state-level stage 1 of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for students in Jharkhand. It is conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC).

Who can apply: Students of class 10 who are residents of Jharkhand and have secured a minimum of 60% marks in class 9 are eligible to apply.
Exam format: The exam is conducted offline and consists of two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Both papers have multiple-choice questions.
Marking scheme: There is no negative marking for the JAC NTSE exam.
Scholarship: The NTSE scholarship is awarded to students who qualify for both stage 1 (JAC NTSE) and stage 2 (national level) exams.
