Note : This paper is of sixty (60) marks divided into three (03) sections A, B, and C. Attempt the questions contained in these sections according to the detailed instructions given therein.

Section – A : (Long Answer Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘A’ contains four (04) long-answer-type questions of fifteen (15) marks each. Learners are required to answer any two (02) questions only. (2×15=30)
1. Explain the principles of administration as stated by Kautilya in Arthashastra.
2. Max Weber has identified three forms of legitimacy (Authority). Name them and explain them.
3. Chester Bernard stresses on the importance of organisation as a system of human cooperation. Explain his views with reference to formal and Informal organisations.
4. Explain the five elements of scientific management as discussed by Henry Fayol.

Section – B : (Short Answer Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘B’ contains eight (08) short-answer-type questions of five (05) marks each. Learners are required to answer any four (04) questions only. (4×5=20)
