Explain the Sources of News with suitable examples.
Explain the technique and new styles of page layout with examples.

SECTION-B
Attempt any Four Questions. Each carrying equal marks.

1. Differentiate between Feature and Article with examples.
2. Explain the necessary elements for the Film Review.
3. Explain with suitable examples of the Style sheet of a Newspaper.

6. Explain the elements of photo editing.
7. Define the documentary film and its types.

SECTION-C
Choose the True and False statements 10 x ½ =5

Note : This paper is of sixty (60) marks divided into three (03) sections A, B, and C. Attempt the questions contained in these sections according to the detailed instructions given therein.

Section – A : (Long Answer Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘A’ contains four (04) long-answer-type questions of fifteen (15) marks each. Learners are required to answer any two (02) questions only. (2×15=30)
1. What are the various sources of news? Explain in detail.
2. Describe the importance of visual matter in the production of a newspaper.
3. What is feature? What precautions should be taken while editing a feature supplement.
4. Explain the management & functioning of the daily newspapers newsroom.

Section – B : (Short Answer Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘B’ contains eight (08) short-answer-type questions of five (05) marks each. Learners are required to answer any four (04) questions only. (4×5=20)
1. What is memoir? Write its types.
2. What is a political Review?

3. Explain in major types of headline.
4. Elaborate the importance of a Sub-Editor.
5. How does news agencies functions?

6. What are the main precautions for Film Review?
7. Explain the printing process of a newspaper.
8. What is the principle of page decoration?

Section – C : (Objective Type Questions)
Note : Section ‘C’ contains ten (10) objective-type questions of one (01) mark each. All the questions of this section are compulsory. (10×1=10)
