Note : Section ‘A’ contains four (04) long-answer-type questions of fifteen (15) marks each. Learners are required to answer any two (02) questions only. (2×15=30)

2. What are the objectives behind stabilization of agricultrue prices ? Describe the steps taken by the state government in this connection.
3. What do you mean by regional economic disparities ? What efforts have been made by the Govt. of Uttarakahnd in the recent years to reduce economic disparities in the state ? Explain.
4. Define unemployment. Discuss the causes and extent of unempoloyment in Uttarakhand. What would you like to suggest regarding the employment polices of the state ?
